INTRODUCTION

The FCAC-KZN was formed in 2003 and its constitution was adopted in the same year. Despite facing persisted resource challenges, it has continued to remain active and has been successful in providing FCAC-KZN and other artist formations with a forum where among other things:

It has jointly lobby all structures of Government on behalf of the KZN arts and culture community for arts favourable policies, and resources and support; It has established and sustained a close and working relationship with the KZN Department of Arts and Culture.
